THE ROLE:

• Develop and execute a robust automation testing strategy focusing on both API and UI testing for Satalia Delivery, an established scheduling solution for last-mile deliveries used by several major UK brands.

• Implement and maintain automated test scripts for functional, API, and regression testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage of user journeys and backend processes.

• Collaborate closely with our internal product and engineering teams to understand requirements, communicate testing progress, and manage expectations. 

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members on automation best practices.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Extensive experience in API and UI testing.

• Proven experience leading or mentoring an automation team.

• Ability to define and implement effective automation strategies.

• Experience with cloud-based platforms (preferably GCP)

• Proficient in using version control systems and CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, GitHub)

• Experience with multiple modern testing tools and the ability to choose between them 

• Experience working in an Agile environment.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

IF YOU KNOW THIS EVEN BETTER:

• Experience with performance and security tests, including liaison with external third-party providers. 

• Familiarity with accessibility testing.
